Wendy Smith is Principal Accountant at VISIS Private Wealth and has been helping clients navigate Australia’s tax landscape since establishing her accounting practice in 2005. With a strong technical foundation and a genuine commitment to client care, Wendy is known for making tax matters clearer, more manageable, and far less stressful.

She particularly enjoys guiding clients through complex or challenging tax situations, helping them understand their options and make confident, informed decisions. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Finance) and brings nearly two decades of experience in tax and accounting. Her career has been shaped by a strong focus on accuracy, integrity, and client satisfaction, alongside a deep understanding of how tax outcomes impact broader financial decisions.
Her collaborative approach ensures tax advice is not delivered in isolation, but as part of a cohesive, well-considered strategy. By working closely with advisers across VISIS, Wendy helps clients achieve practical, compliant, and tax-effective outcomes—while removing much of the complexity and administrative burden associated with managing tax affairs.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys playing golf, travelling, and – most importantly – spending quality time with her family. Wendy and Chris Smith have established the Hands for Humanity Foundation which supports some of the amazing charities working in our community such as Ronald McDonald House, Peggy’s Place and Share the Dignity.
